We want to hear your family's story. One thing we've learned from one another in this community is that while our kids share many of the same symptoms, no two children are exactly alike. Some are on the extreme side of the spectrum, while others may exhibit milder symptoms. However, both must be promptly diagnosed and treated.
It's important that the community hear from all of us. It is an injustice to not share several perspectives, because no matter how mild, PANS still has crippling affects on the entire family unit.
We appreciate that many parents are hesitant to share because of the stigma behind mental illness and the permanency of putting those stories online. We are more than happy to keep the names confidential. But it is crucial that we start to speak out about how PANS/PANDAS is affecting our children and our families. They won't know unless we tell them.
Please note: all stories submitted will be publicly shared. If you'd like to change names and remain confidential, please do so upon submission
